Meticulous design and structural optimisation, backed by a digital twin, have produced a machining centre that combines the power and robustness needed for roughing with the speed and accuracy needed for superfinishing. Dual Drive motors on all 3 linear axes, combined with rack-and-pinion systems and encoder-based linear scales, are the best way to achieve fast traverse, high thrust and extreme accuracy.

An advanced lubrication system eliminates dirt, stains on workpieces and hazardous fumes, and reduces maintenance and operating costs.

In addition, the Rexroth CytroPac hydraulic power unit cuts energy consumption through variable pressure management.

The Thermal Shield system, applied to the thermo-symmetrical structure of Matrix E3, provides optimum control of thermal expansion without the need for costly cooling systems.

An efficient chip evacuation system and stainless steel cladding keep the machining area clean at all times and reduce operator intervention.

Maximum ergonomics and safety

The floor-level machining table and automatic roof bellows make workpiece loading and unloading quick and safe, with the overhead crane reaching straight into the machine. The working area is fully enclosed to prevent the escape of chips, dust or fumes that could be hazardous to the operator. Large impact- and scratch-resistant windows, together with internal cameras that can be integrated into the control panel, give an excellent view of operations.
